Dritan Vata vs Gig Mana-ay

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Alonte Sports Arena, Santa Rosa,  taking place on 24/05/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Dritan Vata (6(4) - 0) who hails from Tirana, Albania and Gig Mana-ay(15 - 6 - 6) from Lapu-Lapu, Philippines.  Vata weighed in at 108 pounds, while Mana-ay weighed in at 107 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Neper Balagtas, and the three ringside judges are Colin Manalang, Colin Manalang and Alfonso Baybay.  

Round 1:

Mana-ay advances into close range.  Vata sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Vata is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Mana-ay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Vata's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mana-ay forces Vata to back into the blue corner.  Mana-ay connects with a left hook.  
Vata steps to the outside and lands a cross to Mana-ay's body.  
Vata is on target with a sharp overhand left.  
Vata feints a jab, and then connects with a sharp cross.  
Vata lands a double jab to his opponents head.
