Xaver Sonson vs Emanuel Medel

Boxing Daily Report from the Ghale Promotions promoted show at Cagayan de Oro Nino, Cagayan de Oro,  taking place on 29/05/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-Misamis Oriental Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xaver Sonson (18 - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines and Emanuel Medel(16 - 4) from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.  Both Sonson and Medel weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alano Pagilagan, and the three ringside judges are Jose Maybituin, Kiki Bermejo and Carlos Palaganas.
