Leighton Spedden vs Matt Orrick

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Civic Auditorium, San Jose,  taking place on 23/06/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Leighton Spedden (7 - 0) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Matt Orrick(1 - 0) from Las Vegas, USA.  Spedden weighed in at 240 pounds and 14 ounces, while Orrick weighed in at 239 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Kinnock, and the three ringside judges are Ian Lin, Bruce Elias and Greg Blanco.  

Round 1: 

Spedden walks Orrick onto the ropes.  Spedden pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.

Spedden is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Spedden ties up his opponent.  Spedden tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Orrick's kidney. Spedden uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Orrick behind the head. Spedden tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Orrick behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Spedden.
