Maximilian Asp vs Staffan Blix

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Sweden-Vastra Gotaland promoted show at Gustav Norstrom Gym, Gothenburg,  taking place on 28/05/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Sweden-Vastra Gotaland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Maximilian Asp (18(8) - 0) who hails from Gothenburg, Sweden and Staffan Blix(7 - 11 - 4) from Gothenburg, Sweden.  Both Asp and Blix weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ivar Wallen, and the three ringside judges are Joel Ahlquist, Joel Ahlquist and Fiske Lingren.  

Round 1: 

Asp lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Blix gets on the inside.  Asp lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Blix closes the distance.  Asp lands two left hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Asp ties up his opponent.  Asp is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Asp lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Asp tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a stinging cross.  
Asp lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
Blix advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Asp holds on to his opponent.  Asp pushes his forearm into Blix's face.  The ref breaks Asp's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Blix steps inside.  Asp pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Asp is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Blix lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Asp tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Blix gets on the inside and manouvers Asp onto the ropes.  Blix pivots to the side of his opponent.  Asp lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Asp steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  
Blix is looking to close the distance.  Asp sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Blix tries to land a right hook, but Asp slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Asp connects with a MASSIVE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE BLIX WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Asp holds on to his opponent.  Blix is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Blix.  
Blix walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Asp senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Asp lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND BLIX IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Asp is looking to keep his distance.  Asp lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS BLIX SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Blix has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Asp connects with a sharp cross.  
Asp feints a jab, and then throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Blix steps inside.  Asp lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Asp tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Blix recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Asp is on target with a stinging overhand right.  Asp tries to land a jab, but Blix blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Asp steps to the outside and lands a sharp cross.  
Asp sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Asp hits home with a solid overhand left.  
Asp finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Asp lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Asp lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Asp steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Blix gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Blix pivots to the side of his opponent.  Blix throws a left hook, but Asp clinches his opponent.  Asp leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Asp hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Asp is looking to keep his distance and connects with a solid overhand right.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Blix's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Blix's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Asp lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Blix manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Blix sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Asp lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES BLIX!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  The ref takes a good look at Blix's eyes.  The ref is waving the fight off...he doesnt think Blix is fit to continue!  The winner by TKO is Asp!
