Chris Holme vs Kenzie Esson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Florida promoted show at Hialeah Chirino, Hialeah,  taking place on 30/05/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Florida Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Holme (5 - 16(1) - 11) who hails from Fort Lauderdale, USA and Kenzie Esson(7 - 0) from Coral Springs, USA.  Both Holme and Esson weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fanuco Villarrubia, and the three ringside judges are Davie Riquelme, Daniel Ruthven and Chris Sprout.  

Round 1: 

Esson is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Holme switches the action to the outside.  Esson lands a jab.  
Esson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Holme closes the distance and manages to force Esson into the blue corner.  Esson lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Esson advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Esson gets on the inside.  Esson leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Holme is whaling away with hooks, but Esson keeps his defence tight.
