Alano Barro vs Xaverius Velez

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Polideportivo Espana, Managua,  taking place on 30/06/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Central American Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alano Barro (8(7) - 0) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Xaverius Velez(20(3) - 7(5) - 1) from San Salvador, El Salvador.  Barro weighed in at 147 pounds, while Velez weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ignado Siguenza, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Salome, Santiago Mazo and Salvador Oyola.  

Round 1: 

Barro steps inside.  Velez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Barro is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Barro steps to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Barro closes the distance.  Velez lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Barro attempts to land a right hook, but Velez blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Velez finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Barro steps away from his opponent.  Velez tries to land a jab, but Barro dodges the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Velez manages to force Barro onto the ropes.  Barro lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Barro attempts to land a cross, but Velez sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Barro finds the target with a jab.  Barro throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Barro attempts to land a jab, but Velez dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Barro tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Barro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Velez lands a ramrod jab.

Barro switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  Barro throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Velez feints a jab, but Barro does not fall for it and is on target with a BRUTAL left hook.  VELEZ WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Barro gets on the inside.  Barro is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Barro lands a cross, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING VELEZ DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Barro tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a MASSIVE cross.  VELEZ IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Barro!
