Inigo Meikle vs Robert Newell

Boxing Daily Report from the Darko Promotions promoted show at Gareth Rankin Gym, Nashville,  taking place on 18/05/2029:

Clearly Darko Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Tennessee Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Inigo Meikle (9 - 10 - 4) who hails from Nashville, USA and Robert Newell(9 - 6(2) - 4) from Nashville, USA.  Both Meikle and Newell weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Cranston, and the three ringside judges are Scott Vaill, Paul Loudon and James Nickson.  

Round 1: 

Newell is looking to close the distance.  Meikle pivots from in front of his opponent.  Newell connects with a left hook.
