Quico Herron vs Salvador Tapia

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Baja California promoted show at Tijuana Alcalde, Tijuana,  taking place on 26/05/2029:

Clearly AI Mexico-Baja California have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quico Herron (13 - 2) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Salvador Tapia(7 - 3 - 1) from Mexicali, Mexico.  Both Herron and Tapia weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lisandro Castellanos, and the three ringside judges are Fausto Cayetano, Loredo Sia and Nicandro Delgadillo.  

Round 1: 

Tapia throws a right uppercut, but Herron ties up his opponent.  Tapia leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Herron pushes his forearm into Tapia's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
