Mick Malles vs Roger Davidge

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Centre Étienne Desmarteau - Ice Rink Caroline Ouellette, Montreal,  taking place on 07/07/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mick Malles (18(4) - 2) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and Roger Davidge(15 - 10 - 1) from Toronto, Canada.  Malles weighed in at 108 pounds, while Davidge weighed in at 107 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Aitken, and the three ringside judges are Henry Popkin, Prewitt Gedeon and Vivien de Beauvoir.  

Round 1: 

Malles lands with a sharp jab.

Davidge walks Malles onto the ropes.  Malles is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Davidge is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Malles blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Malles tries to keep the action at long range.  Malles sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.

Davidge is looking to close the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Davidge.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Malles switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
The right shot from Malles could be enough to force the stoppage!  Malles lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS DAVIDGE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  The ref takes a good look at Davidge's eyes.  The ref is waving the fight off...he doesnt think Davidge is fit to continue!  The winner by TKO is Malles!
