Boxing Daily Report from the Melbourne Promoter promoted show at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre, Melbourne,  taking place on 08/06/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Phil Thom (0 - 0) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Bradley Livingstone(3 - 9 - 7) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Thom and Livingstone weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arran Ritchey, and the three ringside judges are Euan Kier, Johnny Elias and Ashley Steuart.  

Round 1: 

Thom advances into close range and walks Livingstone into the corner.  Thom digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Thom sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Livingstone is on target with a cross.  
Thom advances into close range and lands a stinging left hook.  
Thom is looking to close the distance.  Livingstone throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Thom ties up his opponent.  Livingstone is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Livingstone and breaks the clinch.  
Thom is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Thom lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Thom advances into close range and walks his opponent into a corner.  Thom sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a sharp right hook.

Thom lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Thom steps inside and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Thom lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Thom lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Thom closes the distance and forces Livingstone to back into the red corner.  Thom lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Thom lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Thom tries to land a left hook, but Livingstone blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Livingstone switches the action to the outside.  Thom quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Livingstone is on target with a cross.  
Livingstone connects with an overhand left.  
Thom gets on the inside.  Thom pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Thom lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Thom steps inside and digs in a left hook to Livingstone's ribs.  Thom holds on to his opponent.  Thom is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Thom's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Thom gets on the inside.  Livingstone pivots to the side of his opponent.  Thom digs in a sharp right hook to Livingstone's body.  Livingstone wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Thom.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Thom cuts off the ring, trapping Livingstone on the ropes.  Thom is on target with a left uppercut.  
Livingstone lands a jab.  
Thom is looking to close the distance.  Thom lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Livingstone dabs at his face checking for damage.
