Chruse Mires vs Ethan Smith

Boxing Daily Report from the JDHawks Gym promoted show at Congress Palace Main Hall, Tirana,  taking place on 29/07/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chruse Mires (28(22) - 0) who hails from Tirana, Albania and Ethan Smith(10(1) - 3(1)) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Both Mires and Smith weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Besin Kolcei, and the three ringside judges are Besart Kona, Besnik Hajdari and Blerim Mripa.  

Round 1: 

Smith gets on the inside.  Smith pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Smith leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Mires is whaling away with hooks, but Smith keeps his defence tight.  Mires drives a firm left uppercut into Smith's liver.

Mires steps to the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mires connects with a firm overhand right.  
Smith is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  Smith attempts to land a right hook, but Mires blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mires is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land an overhand right, but Smith sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Smith advances into close range.  As Smith tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mires dabs at his face checking for damage.

Mires lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Smith gets on the inside and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Smith tries to land a right hook, but Mires blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook to Smith's ribs.

Mires lands a straight 1 - 2.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Mires stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Mires lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head, AND SMITH IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Mires is on target with a MASSIVE right hook.  SMITH IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Smith now seems to have got his legs back.  
Smith gets on the inside.  Mires lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Smith almost instantly gets his legs back.

Mires pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to Smith's liver.
