Dario Licona vs Alejandro Cantero

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum, San Juan,  taking place on 07/07/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Puerto Rico Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WAPA-TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dario Licona (9(1) - 0) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Alejandro Cantero(11 - 7 - 1) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  Both Licona and Cantero weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ulises Monforte, and the three ringside judges are Paco Sebastian, Xaverius Rueda and Fausto Jasmin.
