Sennett Mbacke vs Leroy Beaubien

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Wigwam Gym, Dakar,  taking place on 10/07/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Sennett Mbacke (4(3) - 0 - 1) who hails from Pikine, Senegal and Leroy Beaubien(6 - 9 - 2) from Dakar, Senegal.  Both Mbacke and Beaubien weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Garner Seyrig, and the three ringside judges are Dominique Le Roy Ladurie, Maslin Diene and Maslin Diene.  

Round 1: 

Mbacke feints a cross, and then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Mbacke digs in a left hook to Beaubien's liver.  
Mbacke steps to the outside and lands a solid cross.  
Beaubien attempts to land a cross, but Mbacke blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Mbacke lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mbacke throws an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Beaubien gets on the inside.  Mbacke is on target with a solid left hook to Beaubien's body.  
Beaubien steps inside.  Mbacke pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a sharp right hook.  
Mbacke steps to the outside and is on target with a stinging jab.  
Mbacke quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Mbacke hits home with an overhand right.  
Mbacke snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Beaubien gets on the inside.  Mbacke lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Mbacke holds on to his opponent.  Mbacke is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mbacke about fouling.  
Mbacke switches the action to the outside and lands a stiff jab.  
Mbacke is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mbacke quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Beaubien advances into close range and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Mbacke lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

Mbacke lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Beaubien forces Mbacke to retreat onto the ropes.  Mbacke lands a stinging jab.  
Beaubien gets on the inside.  Mbacke is on target with a right hook.  
Mbacke switches the action to the outside and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head, AND BEAUBIEN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  
Beaubien now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Mbacke is on target with a stinging right hook.  Mbacke ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Mbacke's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Beaubien walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mbacke stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Mbacke lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING BEAUBIEN TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Mbacke!
