Makalo Bitamazire vs Peabo Muhumusa

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson Promotions promoted show at Kampala Mugyenyi, Kampala,  taking place on 02/07/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uganda-Kampala District Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Makalo Bitamazire (10 - 12(1) - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Peabo Muhumusa(8 - 1 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Bitamazire and Muhumusa weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Davie Namutebi, and the three ringside judges are Roger Rohrer, Mark Hamya and Dale Kayonga.  

Round 1: 

Muhumusa stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Bitamazire snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  Bitamazire throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Muhumusa gets on the inside and tries to land a right hook, but Bitamazire sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
