Mark Duncan vs Teague Mellis

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at AT&T Park, San Francisco,  taking place on 30/08/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Duncan (24(17) - 1) who hails from Spokane, USA and Teague Mellis(22(1) - 10(3) - 1(NC)) from Athens, Greece.  Both Duncan and Mellis weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Hyland, and the three ringside judges are Dale Short, Mike Amores and Ricky Valle.  

Round 1: 

Duncan lands a stinging overhand right.  
Mellis attempts to land a cross, but Duncan sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Duncan switches the action to the outside.  Mellis attempts to land an overhand right, but Duncan slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Duncan is looking to keep his distance.  Mellis hits home with a cross.  
Duncan lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Duncan is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
Duncan lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mellis hits home with an overhand left.  
Duncan connects with a solid cross.  
Mellis tries to land a right hook, but Duncan sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Mellis steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Duncan steps away from his opponent.  Mellis connects with an overhand left.  Mellis tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mellis closes the distance and forces Duncan to back into the ropes.  Duncan lands a left hook.  
Mellis advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Mellis attempts to land a right hook, but Duncan blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Duncan is on target with a left uppercut.  
Duncan lands a solid jab.  
Mellis manages to force Duncan onto the ropes.  Mellis lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Duncan lands a FIERCE right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MELLIS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Duncan switches the action to the outside.  Duncan knows Mellis is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Duncan lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS MELLIS TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Mellis now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Mellis is looking to close the distance.  Duncan tries to land a left hook, but Mellis blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Duncan tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  
Mellis advances into close range and attempts to land a right uppercut, but Duncan sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Duncan switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  
Mellis closes the distance.  Mellis quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mellis lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Mellis attempts to land a left hook, but Duncan parries the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Duncan steps to the outside.  Mellis is on target with an overhand left.  
Duncan connects with a cross.  
Duncan finds the target with a jab.  
Mellis closes the distance.  Duncan lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Duncan is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Mellis tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a FEARSOME right uppercut.  MELLIS IS HURT!  Mellis recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Duncan lands an overhand right to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Duncan finds the target with a jab.  Duncan attempts to land a jab, but Mellis blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Duncan switches the action to the outside.  Mellis is on target with a hard jab.  
Mellis walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Duncan tries to land a left hook, but Mellis sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Mellis connects with an overhand left.  
Mellis steps inside.  Duncan lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Mellis lands a right hook.  Mellis attempts to land a right hook, but Duncan sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Mellis's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Mellis steps inside.  Duncan lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body, AND KNOCKS MELLIS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Duncan is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a ramrod jab.  
Mellis steps inside.  Duncan drives a firm left hook into Mellis's liver.  Duncan attempts to land a left hook, but Mellis blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Mellis throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Mellis advances into close range.  Duncan is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Mellis tries to land a right hook, but Duncan sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Duncan steps to the outside.  Mellis lands with a ramrod jab.  
Mellis advances into close range.  Duncan throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Duncan switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND KNOCKS MELLIS DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Mellis can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Duncan!
