Boxing Daily Report from the Costa Rican Boxing promoted show at San Jose Galano, San Jose,  taking place on 14/07/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lorenzo Atilano (2(1) - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Rodrigo Atienza(1 - 2 - 1) from Mixco, Guatemala.  Atilano weighed in at 126 pounds, while Atienza weighed in at 125 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Angel Fontanilla, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Cendejas, Tadzio Karp and Rodrigo Fanta.  

Round 1: 

Atilano is looking to close the distance.  Atienza pivots from in front of his opponent.  Atienza throws a left hook, but Atilano holds on to his opponent.  Atilano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Atilano is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Atilano about fouling.  
Atilano closes the distance.  Atilano quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Atilano lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Atilano clinches his opponent.  Atilano leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Atilano forces Atienza to retreat into a corner.  Atilano lands a solid left hook.  Atilano holds on to his opponent.  Atilano leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Atilano lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Atilano hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Atilano lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Atilano clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Atilano pushes his forearm into Atienza's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Atilano.  Atienza recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Atilano steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Atilano connects with a stinging right hook.  
Atilano lands a jab.  
Atilano hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Atilano walks Atienza onto the ropes.  Atilano connects with a solid right hook.  
Atilano is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  Atilano holds on to his opponent.  Atilano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Atienza has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused a minor cut .  
Atilano lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Atilano lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Atienza almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Atilano lands a left hook.  Atilano ties up his opponent.  Atilano leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Atilano hits home with a right hook.  Atilano holds on to his opponent.  Atilano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Atilano's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Atilano forces Atienza to retreat onto the ropes.  Atilano lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Atilano lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Atienza almost instantly recovers. 
Atilano lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Atilano gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Atilano steps inside and digs in a left hook to Atienza's body.  
Atilano cuts off the ring, trapping Atienza in a corner.  Atilano lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Atilano SLAMS a SAVAGE left hook into his opponents face.  ATIENZA IS HURT!  Atienza quickly recovers. 
Atilano steps inside and connects with a right hook.  Atilano ties up his opponent.  Atilano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Atilano to stop holding.  
Atilano lands a stinging left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Atienza's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Atienza's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Atienza's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Atienza's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
