Gonzalo Matamoros vs Ponce Alvillar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Holguin promoted show at Holguin Silvestre, Holguin,  taking place on 15/06/2029:

Clearly AI Cuba-Holguin have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Holguin Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gonzalo Matamoros (5 - 15 - 2) who hails from Holguin, Cuba and Ponce Alvillar(3 - 10) from Holguin, Cuba.  Matamoros weighed in at 140 pounds, while Alvillar weighed in at 139 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Guillermo Mercado, and the three ringside judges are Angel Prisco, Diego Noyola and Fraco Bejarano.
