Waqar Firman vs Angel Aponte

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Robina Stadium, Gold Coast,  taking place on 04/08/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight are the WRBA Super Middleweight, IRBF Super Middleweight and WRBC Super Middleweight titles.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Waqar Firman (35(31) - 2(1)) who hails from Ugep, Nigeria and Angel Apollo Aponte(23(4) - 1) from Campinas, Brazil.  Both Firman and Aponte weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Skiver, and the three ringside judges are Ian Norris, Mel Culp and Rich James.
