Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Lombardy promoted show at Milan De Bacco, Milan,  taking place on 19/07/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Lombardy Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edmondo Cappola (27 - 1) who hails from Milan, Italy and Edmondo Corsaro(9 - 5 - 4) from Milan, Italy.  Both Cappola and Corsaro weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Colombo Bianchi, and the three ringside judges are Dante Sabattini, Giuseppe Ezzo and Nico Adriano.  

Round 1: 

Cappola lands a stiff jab.  
Cappola is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  Cappola ties up his opponent.  Cappola pushes his forearm into Corsaro's face.  The referee warns Cappola and breaks the clinch.  
Cappola gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Cappola clinches his opponent.  Cappola throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Cappola is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Corsaro is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.  
Corsaro tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Cappola advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Cappola lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Corsaro dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Corsaro tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Corsaro's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Corsaro's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Corsaro's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
