Yasushi Okabe vs Raiden Konishi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Chiba promoted show at Matsudo Noguchi, Matsudo,  taking place on 20/07/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yasushi Okabe (9 - 1(1)) who hails from Matsudo, Japan and Raiden Konishi(13 - 8 - 4) from Chiba, Japan.  Okabe weighed in at 139 pounds and 8 ounces, while Konishi weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daiki Matsunaga, and the three ringside judges are Yoshi Uehara, Takeo Nakanishi and Satoshi Nakahara.  

Round 1: 

Okabe is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Okabe manages to force Konishi onto the ropes.  Okabe connects with a right hook.  
Okabe lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Okabe steps inside.  Okabe drives a left hook into Konishi's body.  As Konishi tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Okabe.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
