Kazuki Okabe vs Shinji Toda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Miyagi promoted show at Satoru Tanji Gym, Sendai,  taking place on 20/07/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Miyagi Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kazuki Okabe (15 - 12 - 5) who hails from Sendai, Japan and Shinji Toda(17(4) - 2) from Sendai, Japan.  Both Okabe and Toda weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mitsuru Asano, and the three ringside judges are Satoru Oyama, Satoru Oyama and Keiichi Sakai.  

Round 1: 

Okabe is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Okabe feints a left hook, and then throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Toda finds the target with a jab.  
Toda closes the distance.  Okabe throws a left hook, but Toda ties up his opponent.  Toda is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Toda steps inside.  Toda sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Okabe throws a left uppercut, but Toda clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Toda pushes his forearm into Okabe's face.  The ref breaks Toda's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Toda gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Toda lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
