Daichi Kon vs Noel Belgard

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Esforta Arena, Hachioji,  taking place on 10/08/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Daichi Kon (16(10) - 0) who hails from Suita, Japan and Noel Belgard(11 - 5(2) - 1) from Paris, France.  Both Kon and Belgard weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisoka Yamamoto, and the three ringside judges are Dai Ishikawa, Kazuhiko Ide and Jiro Fukumoto.  

Round 1: 

Kon steps inside and hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Kon lands a double jab to his opponents body.  
Belgard is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Kon finds the target with a jab.  
Kon lands a jab, left hook and a cross to his opponents head.  Kon tries to land a cross, but Belgard sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Belgard switches the action to the outside.  Kon lands an overhand right, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Kon gets on the inside.  Kon lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kon dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Kon steps inside and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Kon is on target with a left uppercut to Belgard's body.  
Kon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Kon lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  Kon throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Kon cuts off the ring, trapping Belgard on the ropes.  Kon drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Belgard steps away from his opponent.  Kon is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Kon lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Kon is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  Kon clinches his opponent.  Kon pushes his forearm into Belgard's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kon about fouling.  
Belgard throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kon gets on the inside and lands a firm right hook.  
Kon throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Kon clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kon connects with a right uppercut.  
Kon hits home with a solid left hook.  Kon ties up his opponent.  Kon uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Belgard's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kon gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Belgard's body.  
Kon lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Belgard is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Kon feints a right hook, and then tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Kon lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kon gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Belgard's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Belgard's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Belgard's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS BELGARD TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Kon!
