Geoff Boiter vs Alen Carroll

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Agganis Arena, Boston,  taking place on 23/07/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Massachusetts Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Geoff Boiter (9 - 1) who hails from Boston, USA and Alen Carroll(17 - 8 - 3) from Boston, USA.  Boiter weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Carroll weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bart McWethy, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Burt, Mike Stobie and Kyle Ormiston.  

Round 1: 

Boiter lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Boiter throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
