Sagaz Escudero vs Isidro Requena

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Antioquia promoted show at Medellin Madray, Medellin,  taking place on 26/07/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Colombia-Antioquia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sagaz Escudero (8(6) - 0) who hails from Itagui, Colombia and Isidro Requena(6 - 6 - 3) from Medellin, Colombia.  Both Escudero and Requena weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oihane Colon, and the three ringside judges are Reynaldo Sagun, Oihane Cayo and Edmundo Estacio.  

Round 1: 

Escudero advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Escudero lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Requena tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Escudero advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Escudero gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Escudero gets on the inside and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Escudero ties up his opponent.  Escudero pushes his forearm into Requena's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Escudero about fouling.  
Requena quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Requena finds the target with a jab.  Requena throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Escudero advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Escudero is on target with a firm right hook to Requena's body.  
Escudero digs in a firm left hook to Requena's body.  
Escudero forces Requena to retreat into the corner.  Escudero lands two right hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Escudero ties up his opponent.  Escudero uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Requena's kidney. The referee warns Escudero and breaks the clinch.  
Escudero lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS REQUENA TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Requena almost instantly recovers. 
Escudero lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Escudero holds on to his opponent.  Escudero leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Escudero's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Escudero lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Requena forces Escudero to retreat into the blue corner.  Escudero lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Requena recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Escudero steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Escudero gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Escudero drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Escudero holds on to his opponent.  Escudero leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Escudero lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Escudero gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Escudero sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Escudero is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Escudero lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING REQUENA TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  It looks like Requena has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Escudero steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Requena almost instantly recovers. 
Escudero hits home with a left hook.  
Escudero advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Escudero holds on to his opponent.  Escudero is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Escudero throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Escudero connects with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Requena's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Requena's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Requena's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Escudero steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  Escudero holds on to his opponent.  Escudero leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Escudero's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Escudero lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Escudero advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Escudero is on target with a firm left hook to Requena's body.  
Escudero advances into close range.  Escudero pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Escudero SLAMS a WICKED left uppercut into his opponents face.  REQUENA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Escudero!
