Bob Ridpath vs Alen Markle

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at San Antonio Kipe, San Antonio,  taking place on 30/07/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Texas Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bob Ridpath (16 - 6 - 1) who hails from Dallas, USA and Alen Markle(7 - 14 - 2) from Austin, USA.  Ridpath weighed in at 135 pounds, while Markle weighed in at 134 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Crum, and the three ringside judges are Robert Corfield, Ali Qazi and John Lewison.  

Round 1: 

Markle connects with a right hook.  
Ridpath switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.  Ridpath throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
