George Mateer vs Paul Fedder

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkansah Promotions promoted show at Geoff Petrie Gym, Independence,  taking place on 02/08/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Missouri Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are George Mateer (12 - 12 - 2) who hails from St. Louis, USA and Paul Fedder(9 - 7(4) - 1) from Kansas City, USA.  Both Mateer and Fedder weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mick Bihl, and the three ringside judges are William Harkins, Kris Hogge and Floyd Schellhaas.  

Round 1: 

Mateer is looking to keep his distance.  Mateer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Fedder throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mateer sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Mateer lands a jab.  
Fedder steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Mateer accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Fedder.
