Ian Picard vs Paul Gibbs

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Tony Ireland Stadium, Townsville,  taking place on 25/08/2029:

Clearly Hennessy Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Australia-Queensland Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Picard (7 - 0 - 2) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Paul Gibbs(9(5) - 0) from Gold Coast, Australia.  Both Picard and Gibbs weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pepe Brunetti, and the three ringside judges are Dan Nish, Richie Higgins and Rob Gollon.  

Round 1: 

Picard gets on the inside.  Gibbs is on target with a left hook to Picard's body.  Gibbs clinches his opponent.  Picard leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gibbs lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Picard tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Picard throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid cross.
