Noe Verduzco vs Gig Baldonado

Boxing Daily Report from the DR Promotion promoted show at San Felipe de Puerto Livas, San Felipe de Puerto Plata,  taking place on 03/08/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Noe Verduzco (10 - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Gig Baldonado(4 - 4 - 2) from Santo Domingo Norte, Dominican Republic.  Verduzco weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces, while Baldonado weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Pino, and the three ringside judges are Juan Henao, Frisco Belen and Jose Corbo.  

Round 1: 

Verduzco steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Baldonado wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Verduzco dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Verduzco.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
