Juan Marmolejo vs Jerrold Francisco

Boxing Daily Report from the DR Promotion promoted show at San Felipe de Puerto Livas, San Felipe de Puerto Plata,  taking place on 03/08/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Juan Marmolejo (6(5) - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Jerrold Francisco(2 - 1 - 1) from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.  Marmolejo weighed in at 107 pounds and 9 ounces, while Francisco weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Frisco Belen, and the three ringside judges are Diego Pino, Juan Henao and Jose Corbo.  

Round 1: 

Marmolejo gets on the inside and lands a stinging left hook.  Marmolejo ties up his opponent.  Marmolejo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Marmolejo feints a cross, tricking Francisco into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Marmolejo springs the trap, countering with  a sharp left uppercut.  
Marmolejo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Marmolejo closes the distance and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Marmolejo ties up his opponent.  Marmolejo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Francisco manages to force Marmolejo onto the ropes.  Marmolejo is on target with a sharp left hook to Francisco's ribs.  
Marmolejo advances into close range and digs in a left uppercut to Francisco's body.  
Francisco pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Marmolejo tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook to Marmolejo's body.
