Jasper Cody vs Ken Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the TRM promo promoted show at London Flynn, London,  taking place on 14/08/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Southern England Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jasper Cody (16 - 12(2) - 1) who hails from Bournemouth, UK and Ken Owen(16 - 14(1) - 1) from London, UK.  Both Cody and Owen weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh McCabe, and the three ringside judges are Jamie Hayes, Edmund Lewis and Dominic Sayer.  

Round 1: 

Cody switches the action to the outside.  Cody feints a right, and then is on target with a jab.  
Owen digs in a right hook to Cody's body.  
Owen closes the distance and forces Cody to back into the corner.  Cody digs in a left hook to Owen's body.  
Cody sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands an overhand right.  
Cody steps away from his opponent.  Owen tries to land a cross, but Cody blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cody's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Owen's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
