Ryuu Maekawa vs Oscar Apted

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Arena Tachikawa Tachihi, Tokyo,  taking place on 08/09/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ryuu Maekawa (22(15) - 0) who hails from Amagasaki, Japan and Oscar Apted(14 - 11 - 6) from Modesto, USA.  Both Maekawa and Apted weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisoka Yamamoto, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Nakazawa, Yuichi Abe and Kyo Tsutsumi.  

Round 1: 

Maekawa lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Apted attempts to land an overhand right, but Maekawa sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Maekawa feints a right hook, and then lands a cross followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.

Apted tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Apted steps inside and throws a right hook, but Maekawa holds on to his opponent.  Maekawa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Maekawa switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Maekawa closes the distance and throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Maekawa ties up his opponent.  Maekawa leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Maekawa connects with a stinging overhand left.  
Apted gets on the inside.  Maekawa drives a left hook into Apted's body.  
Maekawa steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Maekawa hits home with a firm left hook.  
Apted gets on the inside and manages to force Maekawa onto the ropes.  Maekawa lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Apted throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.
