Rodrigo Montes vs Diego Paules

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at San Pedro Sula Santistevan, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 21/07/2029:

Clearly AI Honduras-Cortes have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Honduras-Cortes Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Montes (7 - 7 - 2) who hails from San Pedro Sula, Honduras and Diego Paules(10(1) - 3(2)) from San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  Both Montes and Paules weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gonzalo Balasco, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Adan, Cipriano Lanza and Iago Feliz.  

Round 1:

Paules steps to the outside.  Montes tries to land an overhand left, but Paules dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

Montes tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.

Montes has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
