Montego Curiel vs Santiago Aragon

Boxing Daily Report from the Habe Promotions promoted show at Quito Alatorre, Quito,  taking place on 18/08/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montego Curiel (39(26) - 3(2)) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Santiago Aragon(20 - 9(3) - 2) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Curiel and Aragon weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Pareja, and the three ringside judges are Eloy Quesada, Rodrigo Guitron and Ovidio Vallez.  

Round 1: 

Curiel lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body.

Aragon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Aragon tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Curiel lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS ARAGON DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  Aragon quickly recovers. 
Curiel switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Aragon attempts to land a cross, but Curiel sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.
