Garrison Roussel vs Leggett Baton

Boxing Daily Report from the AI France-Midi-Pyrenees promoted show at Verity Cabal Gym, Toulouse,  taking place on 18/08/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the France-Midi-Pyrenees Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Garrison Roussel (3 - 9 - 2) who hails from Toulouse, France and Leggett Baton(15(4) - 3 - 1) from Toulouse, France.  Both Roussel and Baton weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Emmanuel Malraux, and the three ringside judges are Jeffrey Michel, Vachel Norment and Sylvain Hugo.  

Round 1: 

Baton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Baton is on target with a cross.  
Baton manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Baton digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Baton finds the target with a jab.  
Roussel tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Roussel gets on the inside.  Baton lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Baton steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but Roussel blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Baton throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Baton ties up his opponent.  Baton is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Baton manages to force Roussel into a neutral corner.  Baton sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Baton lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Baton holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Baton pushes his forearm into Roussel's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Baton to stop fouling.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Roussel.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
