Roko Herceg vs Vicente Duron

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Centennial Gardens, Bakersfield,  taking place on 05/10/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Roko Herceg (12(6) - 0) who hails from Split, Croatia and Vicente Duron(14 - 13(7) - 3) from Panama City, Panama.  Both Herceg and Duron weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Harry Millar, and the three ringside judges are Antwan Smillie, John Stein and Cruz Arebalo.  

Round 1: 

Duron steps to the outside and attempts to land an overhand right, but Herceg parries the shot and counters with a mean cross.  DURON IS HURT!  Duron recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Herceg gets on the inside and connects with a right uppercut.  
Duron sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Herceg connects with a cross.  
Herceg steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook.  Herceg clinches his opponent.  Herceg leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Herceg's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Herceg closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Herceg hits home with a weighty right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE DURON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Duron recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Herceg drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Duron tries to land a jab, but Herceg dodges the shot and counters with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Duron forces Herceg to back into the ropes.  Duron connects with a right uppercut.  
Herceg feints a left hook, and then lands a cross.  Herceg tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Duron tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Herceg cuts off the ring, trapping Duron on the ropes.  Duron throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Herceg holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Duron pushes his forearm into Herceg's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Duron to stop fouling.
