Mohsin Safi vs Yasin Imam

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Perak promoted show at Ipoh Rashed, Ipoh,  taking place on 26/08/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Perak Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mohsin Safi (12(5) - 0) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Yasin Imam(6 - 4) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Both Safi and Imam weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Imran Attar, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Moghaddam, Khalid Rahaim and Syed Habib.  

Round 1: 

Safi steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Imam steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Safi is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Safi steps away from his opponent and is on target with a stinging overhand right.  Safi tries to land a cross, but Imam parries the shot and counters with a cross.

Safi throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Safi holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Safi pushes his forearm into Imam's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Safi about fouling.

Imam sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Safi drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Safi digs in a forceful left hook to Imam's liver.  IMAM WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Safi knows Imam is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Safi crashes a big left uppercut to Imam's liver.  IMAM HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Imam has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Safi steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Safi gets on the inside.  Imam is starting to lose his head here!   He pushes his head into Safi's face...that looked intentional!  The ref halts the action and sends Safi to the neutral corner.    He has a stern word with Imam and warns that a point will be deducted if he continues to foul.  
Imam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Safi lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Some sustained pressure from Safi could be enough to finish Imam!  Safi lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND IMAM IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Imam has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Safi gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Safi hits home with a left hook.  
Safi is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Safi is on target with a left uppercut.  
Safi lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Imam almost instantly recovers. 
Safi advances into close range and crashes a DEVASTATING right hook to Imam's ribs.  IMAM HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Safi!
