Mahavir Padmanabhan vs Richie Tennent

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Liuzhau Sports Center, Beijing,  taking place on 22/09/2029:

Clearly Gold Coast Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the WRBC Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mahavir The Tamil Tiger Padmanabhan (33(13) - 3) who hails from Chennai, India and Richie Tennent(28(25) - 2(2)) from Louisville, USA.  Padmanabhan weighed in at 154 pounds, while Tennent weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gao Kung, and the three ringside judges are Fo-hsing Tse, Gao Kung and Wu-pen Zeng.
