Ian Ables vs Harry Lobban

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Kern Center Arena, Milwaukee,  taking place on 11/08/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ian Ables (1 - 0) who hails from Providence, USA and Harry Lobban(2 - 11 - 2) from New York City, USA.  Both Ables and Lobban weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Andy Mateer, and the three ringside judges are John Peart, Dan Fentress and John McCleary.  

Round 1: 

Ables walks Lobban down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Ables lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.

Ables steps to the outside.  Ables feints a cross, fooling Lobban into throwing a cross counter.  Ables springs the trap and counters with  a right hook.  
Ables lands a cross.  
Lobban cuts off the ring, trapping Ables on the ropes.  Ables lands with a stiff jab.  
Ables is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ables dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ables.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
