Sam Nixon vs John Platter

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Casino Miami Jai Alai, Miami,  taking place on 01/09/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Nixon (7(5) - 1) who hails from Ontario, USA and John Platter(18 - 7) from Overland Park, USA.  Nixon weighed in at 160 pounds, while Platter weighed in at 159 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sean Carmona, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Headden, Sam Matteson and James Sutherland.
