Vail Diakhite vs Anton Akis

Boxing Daily Report from the Gierfazy Prom. promoted show at Kraukis Grupa Gym, Riga,  taking place on 09/08/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Vail Diakhite (1 - 0) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Anton Akis(3 - 1) from Riga, Latvia.  Both Diakhite and Akis weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Goga Banga, and the three ringside judges are Kolzak Auzkalns, Koldan Mazbralis and Mikhail Klavinsh.

Akis is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Diakhite is on target with a cross.

Diakhite lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Akis dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Akis.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
