Nick Hay vs Ian MacGuinness

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-New Jersey promoted show at Newark Hughson, Newark,  taking place on 02/09/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New Jersey Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nick Hay (12 - 10 - 2) who hails from Newark, USA and Ian MacGuinness(12 - 6 - 2) from Paterson, USA.  Both Hay and MacGuinness weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cody Normand, and the three ringside judges are Jamie Loudon, Lee Bowell and Ewan McLoughlin.  

Round 1: 

Hay is looking to close the distance.  MacGuinness hits home with a right hook.  
Hay lands a left hook.  
Hay tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Hay's liver.

Hay sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Hay is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  Hay tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
MacGuinness closes the distance and throws a right uppercut, but is unable to find the target.  MacGuinness ties up his opponent.  Hay uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits MacGuinness behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hay about fouling.  
Hay is on target with a left hook to MacGuinness's body.  
Hay hits home with a cross.
