Waleed Aziz vs Ibrahim Shakoor

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Suez promoted show at Haaris Ally Gym, Suez,  taking place on 06/09/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Suez Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waleed Aziz (10 - 10(1) - 2) who hails from Suez, Egypt and Ibrahim Shakoor(6 - 8 - 4) from Suez, Egypt.  Both Aziz and Shakoor weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adnan Tabatabai, and the three ringside judges are Waqar Abdelghany, Amer Ashamallah and Farhan Hossain.  

Round 1: 

Shakoor closes the distance and forces Aziz to back into the red corner.  Aziz tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Shakoor advances into close range and connects with a right hook.  
Aziz pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Shakoor advances into close range and drives a left hook into Aziz's body.  
Shakoor closes the distance.  Aziz wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shakoor dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Aziz steps to the outside.  Shakoor throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Aziz's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Shakoor's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
