Josh Poaro vs Michael Kissack

Boxing Daily Report from the RJS Promotions promoted show at Logan Campbell Centre, Auckland,  taking place on 15/09/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Josh Poaro (6(1) - 0) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Michael Kissack(4 - 0 - 1) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Poaro and Kissack weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Kahukakanui, and the three ringside judges are Waraki Kawau, Brin Stackpole and Robert Haturini.  

Round 1: 

Poaro is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Poaro walks Kissack down, trapping him in a corner.  Poaro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Poaro tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Poaro sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Kissack feints a jab, but Poaro does not fall for it and responds with a left uppercut.

Kissack is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Poaro attempts to land a jab, but Kissack slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Poaro lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kissack's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Kissack's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Kissack's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
