Stephen Uys vs Canaan Giono

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 30/11/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the African Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Stephen Uys (18(1) - 3) who hails from Roodepoort, South Africa and Canaan Giono(16 - 0) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Uys weighed in at 112 pounds, while Giono weighed in at 111 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Quaddus Rascalimu, and the three ringside judges are Dillon Strydom, Asavela Sikali and Eric Nhlapo.
