Waltier Latham vs Edmond Giraudoux

Boxing Daily Report from the Bebox promoted show at Briar Fossey Gym, Liege,  taking place on 11/09/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Belgium-Wallonia Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waltier Latham (8 - 11(1) - 8) who hails from Liege, Belgium and Edmond Giraudoux(3(1) - 0) from Charleroi, Belgium.  Latham weighed in at 130 pounds, while Giraudoux weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Valeray Dombasle, and the three ringside judges are Reinald Jade, Glanville Barse and Page Nouvel.  

Round 1: 

Giraudoux closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Giraudoux gets on the inside and is on target with a solid left hook.

Latham is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Giraudoux sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Latham connects with an overhand right.

Giraudoux uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Latham's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Latham tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.  
Latham pivots to the side of his opponent.  Giraudoux connects with a stinging right uppercut.  Giraudoux clinches his opponent.  Giraudoux pushes his forearm into Latham's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Giraudoux about fouling.  
Latham tries to keep the action at long range.  Giraudoux throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Giraudoux steps inside and forces Latham to retreat into the corner.  Giraudoux slams a big right hook into his opponents ribcage.  LATHAM IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Giraudoux steps inside and connects with a right hook.  Giraudoux holds on to his opponent.  Giraudoux throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Giraudoux leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Giraudoux is looking to close the distance.  Latham pivots to the right of his opponent.  Latham attempts to land a left hook, but Giraudoux slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.

Round 2: 

Giraudoux closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND SENDS LATHAM SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Giraudoux pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  It looks like Latham has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Giraudoux advances into close range and walks Latham onto the ropes.  Giraudoux lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Latham tries to keep the action at long range.  Giraudoux is on target with a stinging overhand right.  
Giraudoux closes the distance and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Latham pivots to the left of his opponent.  Latham throws a left hook, but Giraudoux clinches his opponent.  Giraudoux throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Giraudoux's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Giraudoux walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Giraudoux quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Giraudoux is looking to close the distance and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Giraudoux pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Giraudoux lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND KNOCKS LATHAM DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Giraudoux lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS LATHAM!  The ref does not give Latham the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Giraudoux!
