Luis Torrico vs Diego Diaz

Boxing Daily Report from the Mufwembe Promotions promoted show at Olindo Santin Gym, Los Alcarrizos,  taking place on 17/08/2029:

Clearly Mufwembe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luis Torrico (5 - 8 - 4) who hails from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic and Diego Diaz(8 - 3) from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic.  Torrico weighed in at 168 pounds, while Diaz weighed in at 167 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Carreno, and the three ringside judges are Federico Francisco, Carlos Acosta and Nemesio Carrero.
