Olindo Montanez vs John Blackstock

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Centre Pierre Charbonneau, Montreal,  taking place on 13/10/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Olindo Montanez (13(9) - 1) who hails from Trujillo, Peru and John Blackstock(14(1) - 6(3) - 1) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Both Montanez and Blackstock weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Varocher Painchaud, and the three ringside judges are Verrier Luna, Paris Clarin and Michael Oliver.  

Round 1: 

Blackstock lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Montanez advances into close range and lands a sharp left hook.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Montanez dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Montanez.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
