Oro Barrio vs Venacio Felipe

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Iradier Arena, Vitoria-Gasteiz,  taking place on 22/09/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Southern Europe Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal + Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Oro Barrio (24(17) - 1(1)) who hails from Barcelona, Spain and Venacio Felipe(7 - 13(4) - 4) from Malaga, Spain.  Barrio weighed in at 175 pounds, while Felipe weighed in at 174 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Orellana, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Checo, Emanuel Carmen and Jair Garrido.  

Round 1: 

Barrio lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

Barrio is looking to keep his distance and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Felipe steps inside.  Barrio hits home with a solid right hook.  
Felipe walks Barrio onto the ropes.  Barrio snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.  
Barrio is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a solid jab.  
Barrio lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Felipe gets on the inside.  Barrio drives a firm left hook into Felipe's body.

Barrio EXPLODES a VICIOUS right hook into his opponents face.  FELIPE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  Felipe now seems to have his senses back.

Felipe is looking to close the distance and manouvers Barrio into the blue corner.  Felipe throws a left hook, but Barrio ties up his opponent.  Barrio leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Barrio is looking to keep his distance.  Barrio feints a left hook, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Barrio lands with a sharp jab.  
Barrio is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a ramrod jab.  
Felipe throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Felipe's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
