Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Townsville Entertainment Centre, Townsville,  taking place on 30/09/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jacob Fergus (13(7) - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Joseph Falconer(13 - 9(1) - 3) from Melbourne, Australia.  Fergus weighed in at 228 pounds and 4 ounces, while Falconer weighed in at 253 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Taggert, and the three ringside judges are Ian Rabb, Ian Norris and Darryl Maletin.  

Round 1:

Fergus lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head, DROPPING FALCONER TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Falconer recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Fergus digs in a telling left hook to his opponents liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE FALCONER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Fergus is looking to keep his distance.  Fergus is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Fergus lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING FALCONER DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Fergus lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Fergus lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  It looks like Falconer has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Falconer's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Falconer's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Falconer closes the distance.  Fergus quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Falconer attempts to land a left hook, but Fergus sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Fergus switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  Fergus throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Fergus sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a sharp jab.  
Fergus lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab to the body followed by two overhand right's to the head.  
Falconer is looking to close the distance.  Fergus lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Fergus steps to the outside.  Fergus sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Fergus lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Fergus steps away from his opponent.  Fergus sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with an overhand right.  
Fergus pivots from in front of his opponent.  Fergus attempts to land a cross, but Falconer slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
