Francis Sebastian vs Dabney Marais

Boxing Daily Report from the Angry Rabbits promoted show at Valeray Bartholdi Gym, Strasbourg,  taking place on 18/09/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France-Alsace Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Francis Sebastian (8 - 7 - 5) who hails from Mulhouse, France and Dabney Marais(15(3) - 3) from Strasbourg, France.  Both Sebastian and Marais weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Demont Beaubien, and the three ringside judges are Barbabe Claude, Launcelot Meiffret and Montgomery Guichard.  

Round 1: 

Marais gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Marais pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Marais lands a left hook.  
Marais is looking to close the distance.  Sebastian connects with a right hook.

Marais throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Marais is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Marais.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
